Svalin EPCI

Grane project includes three projects Conducted under the same project two create visions given in the Implementation phase, bothering onshore and offshore.
The three projects are:
  • Svalin C: underwater "tie-back" to Grane, topside modifications EPCI
  • New gas coolers Grane EPCI: replacement of three gas coolers on Grane in RS 2014
  • New life boats Grane EPCI: replacement of all four life boats on the Grane platform

All three projects were completed successfully in 2014.

The projects were the carried out as EPC contracts (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) under the same project organization. Installation and commissioning was Performed by an integrated team consis things of REINERTSEN and Statoil (Integrated Construction and Completion, ICC model). REINERTSEN provisioned personnel, facilities and equipment, and we were doing all the Necessary work: administration / management, planning, engineering, procurement, fabrication, work out at Grane, logistics, administration interface, preservation of materials and equipment, completion, commissioning and documentation . Focus was held against delivery of documentation (LCI) throughout the project phase. The projects were Conducted with management, engineering and procurement located in Trondheim. Fabrication was Primarily Conducted by REINERTSENs workshop in Murmansk, some fabrication was also Performed by REINERTSENs workshop on Orkanger. The integrated team for the preparation and Implementation of offshore work was co-located with management, engineering and procurement in Trondheim. All three projects were completed without serious HSE incidents. Svalin C satellite fields is a "tie-back" to the Grane platform. Svalin EPCI includes all Necessary rebuilding of Grane topside, includingsuch upholstery and fixing the riser to the topside. This is an EPCI contract for "tie-back" of Svalin C to Grane platform that include all engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore modification work. The work includes:

  • retraction of the riser and umbilical
  • installation of multi phase meters and equipment for management of the project underwater party
  • installation of topside flowlines for production and flow lines for gas lift
  • Purchase and installation of subsea hydraulic pack and control panel for hydraulic systems
  • RFO assistance two marine contracts
  • Modification of feed in the 1st stage separator
  • Reconstruction of the 4th and 5th stage compressor
  • Replacing internal parts in two scrubbers
  • Convert Granes system for hydrate over two ME and install injection pumps for MEG
  • Installing gauge package for gas and crude oil in the test separator

Project new gas coolers Grane EPCI include replacement of chillers for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade compressor on Grane Topside

method used for removal of old chillers and Installing new was a combi nation of slisking and lifting. The coolers were skid to the outside of the module to a custom structure available for the platform crane to lift it on to a landing platform. The new coolers installed in a similar overwhelm with the lifting and slisking. Work on Replacing the coolers were Performed in RS 2014 (14 days) and the new coolers were put into operation at the start of the platform for RS. PROJECT DATA

REINERTSENs work was Conducted as a total contract, with responsibility for engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation and commissioning.

The main activity for the work were:
  • Designing
  • Purchasing, follow-up and installation of life boats:
- Four new life boats with davits, Produced by Norsafe - Procurement of materials, fabrication and installation of a new lift arrangement for the life boats - Optimization of the method of installation and required testing PROJECT DATA
